Yes, And... Set Sail! A Journey Into One Piece

This workshop inspired by One Piece invites you to embark on a wild and energetic adventure where anything is possible! Inspired by Eiichiro Oda's epic world-building, daring characters and unstoppable spirit, this workshop will teach you how to create imposing and fearless characters with mind-blowing powers, take improvisational risks like a true pirate, build rich imaginary worlds and ground fantastic scenes with real emotions.

IN - IMPRO BEGINNER: People who already have some experience with Impro courses and/or performances.
AV/PF - ADVANCED/PROFESSIONAL IN IMPRO: People with a few years' experience and/or a career in Impro.

About Rocío Barquilla:

With almost a decade of experience, Rocío is a performer and educator with a passion for improvisation, currently working as a director, producer, stage manager, teacher and permanent member of the company The VLC Playground, the only theater company in Valencia where improvisation is taught and performed in English. She also co-founded the Alta Sensibilidad project with Adrià Lerma, which focuses on a more conscious and emotional approach to improvisation, based on her experience as a highly sensitive person (PAS).

Rocío is active on the international improvisation scene, participating in festivals and continually exploring new directions for this art form. Her work encompasses various experimental styles of improvisation, including abstract, feminist, interdisciplinary and performance-based forms. With a master's degree in Applied Theatre, she uses improvisation for educational and self-knowledge purposes. Always challenging the limits of what improvisation can be, Rocío is dedicated to creating innovative and inclusive spaces for both artists and audiences.
