We continue to champion Asian heritage in the music industry across all genres, with a focus on pushing forward visibility for the community in the wider UK live music scene. Aayushi, the folk singer-songwriter writes strikingly tender songs, sung with a beguiling intimacy. With over 7 million Spotify streams, her work has been featured on Spotify’s Most Beautiful Songs in the World playlist, receiving support from the likes of BBC 6, Southbank Centre, and Hype Machine. Aayushi’s favourite things to write about are childhood memories, things she can’t say out loud, and her recurring dreams of the sea.
TIBIBI is an independent producer, singer songwriter, with a passion for cinematic pop music and UK garage. She is driven by a thirst for experience rather than monetary gain. Her original music is a fusion of piano, semi-orchestral elements, and her distinct vocals. She has been performing live for a decade. Her track was selected as track of the week several times, and she was chosen as artist of the day on BBC Music Introducing with the track “ Gaslight” .
SOME HONEY is an emerging UK-based singer, songwriter, and sonic storyteller crafting cinematic, soul-drenched soundscapes that blend introspective lyricism with the warmth of old-school R&B. Based in Birmingham with roots in Thailand, SOME HONEY is passionate about creating space and visibility for artists of mixed East Asian heritage in the UK music scene.
ROJO is a genre-blending artist creating music that speaks from the soul. With a sound rooted in funk, soul, and hip hop, their music moves fluidly between vibrant, danceable grooves and slower, emotionally rich moments. Every track is a reflection of inner truths, designed not just to be heard but deeply felt.
Asian Tones spotlights and champions Asian heritage in the music industry. With a keen focus on supporting the grassroots live music scene, Asian Tones has hosted 100+ artists of Asian heritage across genres from pop to electropunk to desi and much in between.
